Rubber Silage Pit Mats

Heavy-duty rubber silage pit mats add weight to the cover reducing the air inside and hugely increasing the quality of the silage. The uniform distribution of the weight across the pit ensures that a tight air seal is maintained. This creates a much higher quality feed which translates directly into both milk quality and milk yield in your herd. This also results in increased weight of your Livestock.

The design of the mats prevent birds piercing the cover as well as being a much more environmentally friendly and health and safety compliant solution than putting rubber tyres on top of the cover.

The mats do not have grooves or holes and are therefore extremely hygienic and can be easily washed down. The solid design also allows water to run off which means less stagnant water lying around and a lower risk of infections.

The 100% rubber construction means there's no risk of metal or other foreign objects in the mats, which can contaminate feed or cause injury when handling the mats.

The large size of the mats also means reduced labour to move and fit them as well as making them easy to store when not in use.
